Snoos & Friends Giving Season Matching Fundraiser 2025


Snoos! It’s time to come together to get matching funds (up to 60%!) for not only your favorite charities but also some research- backed highly cost effective charities, too. We want to reach a goal of $20,000 by Dec 31,2025 - help us get there!

How it works
  1. Choose any nonprofit charity registered in the US. (If you have nothing in mind, we recommend these)
  2. Select a super-effective, expert-recommended charity from the chart to split your donation with. (Tip: Start by selecting from the “General Theme” column, and then select from within that group)
  3. Enter a donation amount. (Tip: You can donate in stock at the checkout page on the left-hand side!) 
  4. Earn matching funds on top for both (with a boosted match rate up to 60%)  (Giving Multiplier does not take any fees!)
  5. Share this specific link with other Snoos, friends, and family to get the special 60% matching rate!

  • The initiative aims to reach a goal of $20,000.
• When does the fundraiser begin and end?
  • The fundraiser will kick off on November 3 and run through the End of the Year (Dec 31, 2025).
• How much money does the platform (Giving Multiplier) take from my donation?
  • None! The Giving Multiplier platform does not take any fees, meaning 100% of your donation goes to charities.
• Which payment methods have no transaction processing fees?
    ◦ Bank ACH, Stocks, and DAF transactions are listed as having FREE processing fees
• Who is eligible to participate in the matching fundraiser?
  • The fundraiser is open to Reddit employees (Snoos) and anyone they share the specific link with, including friends, family, and loved ones.
• What kind of impact do these research-backed charities have?
  • For example, the Against Malaria Foundation estimates one life saved per approximately $5,000 donated. Give Directly delivers approximately 90% of donations directly to recipients, and independent studies have shown a 27% average increase in recipient assets and a 42% reduction in hunger
