The "Care It!" Run: 40 Years, 40 Miles, 40 Effective Donations!

To celebrate my 40th, it would be an absolute delight if you considered making a donation to an effective charity!  I will match all donations!

If you have a favorite charity, please donate to that one!  If you do not, here are my thoughts:
  •  Some charities are 100x or even 1000x more effective than others. 
  • I am a big fan of highly-researched, effective charities focused on global poverty, climate, and animal welfare.

  • If you don't have a favorite charity, skip step 1 and choose one of my favorites (e.g. GiveDirectly for global poverty, Clean Air Task Force for climate) in step 2!
  • You can split your donation:
    • Choose your favorite charity: Donate a portion to a cause you already love.
    • Get a bonus match: Donate the other portion to one of my favorite charities and you'll receive a bonus match on that portion, increasing your total impact!
