The "Care It!" Run: 40 Years, 40 Miles, 40 Effective Donations!
If you have a favorite charity, please donate to that one! If you do not, here are my thoughts:
- Some charities are 100x or even 1000x more effective than others.
- I am a big fan of highly-researched, effective charities focused on global poverty, climate, and animal welfare.
- Feel free to skip all this and Venmo (@eric-spamer) or Paypal (espamer@gmail.com) me and I will donate for you!
- Scroll down and follow steps 1-4.
- If you don't have a favorite charity, skip step 1 and choose one of my favorites (e.g. GiveDirectly for global poverty, Clean Air Task Force for climate) in step 2!
- You can split your donation:
- Choose your favorite charity: Donate a portion to a cause you already love.
- Get a bonus match: Donate the other portion to one of my favorite charities and you'll receive a bonus match on that portion, increasing your total impact!
Please reach out anytime if you want to learn more about these charities and the work I do with some of them!
You are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
